Lagerstroemia indica ‘Seminole’
(DR Egolf, Baileya 17(1): 2.5. 1970): Spherical shrub, 2.5 m tall; leaves glossy, medium green, thin leathery; panicles obtuse, 14-20 cm long, 11-16 cm wide; flowers bright medium pink (Red Purple 67B 2 , base 59C to lighter shade 64D). Originated in 1960 from a cross of L. indica ‘Hardy Pink’ × L. indica ‘Low Flame’ , and introduced in 1970 by US National Arboretum; NA 30166; PI 326426. Name registered 17 March 1970.
